Yellowstone Vacation

Okie dokie! Finally blogging our trip! We had a great trip at while ago..... the end of summer yes I know I am getting pretty pathetic with my blogging, but here is something new! We had a wonderful trip to Yellow Stone with our family and Grandma & Grandpa Minnoch.

Everyone had a chance getting sick on the trip. Thank goodness it was just a fever and it only lasted about a day, but all the kids took turns getting a little sick. Jacey was so tired she layed on the table and she was out! Jaden was the first to get sick on the day we left. He was just tired and had a fever.

We stopped at a huge waterfall that was just loud and flowing so fast. You could feel the spray from where we were standing. It was gorgeous! The boys are cute too!

Kamryn was a handful keeping track of her, but everyone had a great time.

Jacey had a great time too.

The picture just doesn't do justice! I was such a powerful waterfall. It was amazing to see the speed that the water flowed at!

Gorgeous! We can't wait to go again! We absolutely loved our whole trip!

Here is some of the wildlife that we saw:

Here is a bald eagle in a nest just off the side of the road.

We drove and drove and we finally saw the buffalo. The first one we saw was in the road right next to the cars. I tried to get a close up, but the park ranger was yelling for everyone to keep moving because of course there was a huge traffic jam of people just watching the buffalo. Like they have never seen a buffalo before or something.

Here is a better picture..

We were very close to this puppy! I mean wolf!!

We just happened to walk up to this bear! Then we walked away.

Oh! This bear was just too close for comfort.... no that is not a safety fence..
Okay, we only saw the bear and wolf at the wildlife reserve. But, we did see the rearend of a moose not really picture worthy.

All tired out and they needed a rest.

Here is the wildlife reserve. It was pretty cool.

It was a neat thing going to 'Old Faithful' , stinky but neat.

Nice pose!

What is that stuff, you got me?

Just letting off some steam!

Getting a little tired.

We stopped for icecream and souveneirs.

Well, most of us had our icecream. She is getting better with her icecream cones though. We practice quite a bit.

We had so much fun on our vacation!

Soooooo Blue. Sooooooooooo pretty! Soooooooooooo Stinky!

Here is yellow stone lake. The sand was dark gray and black. It was cool.

Hi Grandma and Grandpa!

It was a beautiful day and we had fun playing in the water.

Oh yeah, a little out of order. Here is Old Faithful shooting geyser!

Here is Jacey playing at the lake! What a sweetie!

Kamryn loved it!

The air was a little cool, but the black sand was warm.

We soooo enjoyed our trip and we had fun staying in a condo. The little town was great. We will never forget this trip! Can't wait to go again!

Broken Sprinkler

Yes, I do have a girly girl. She wanted a picture in her Cinderella outfit! And
of course I couldn't resist taking a picture. She got this outfit for her 4th
Birthday from Kelly. He has pretty good taste eh!

What is the best thing to do with a broken sprinkler??

It is always best to run through the fountain of water

especially in the 90 plus degree weather and flood the lawn! I decided to

grab the camera instead of turning off the water.

It was fun to see them try to stop the water,

they liked seeing the bat shoot up in the air.

Hmmmmm, maybe Jaden should try sitting on it. It didn't work, but everyone took
a turn sitting on the fountain and until the next time, enjoy those broken sprinkler's
when you get the chance!

Vacation to Starvation Lake!

Finally, we went fishing this summer! We went camping at Starvation Lake and we brought our cousin Tayden too. Tayden also caught the most fish! Beginners luck!! We had a blast fishing, playing in the water, sand and throwing rocks!

We are ready to fish, just look at these muscles!
Jacey was having tons of fun! Nice pose!
What a cutie!

What cute little daddy's girls! We couldn't get Kamryn out of the water! We basically had to drag her away! She had no fear. We had to keep a close eye on her, she would just jump in if we weren't right there!

Here are the great fisherman and fisherwoman! They certainly got their money's worth out of their fishing poles! They wanted to fish from the crack of dawn until it was dark!

Tayden still caught the most fish, even after trying a few different spots! Way to go Tayden! Too bad the fish were too small to keep. Maybe next time.

Kamryn loved the water even though it was pretty cold. She had fun throwing rocks in and splashing around.

Yes, I know we are all whities! This is the first time we've seen the sun in our swimsuits this summer! Pretty sad huh!? We all had a great time and can't wait to go again!

Kamryn's 1st Haircut

Yes! Kamryn is getting her first haircut....
besides the ocassional bangs being trimmed.
She is 20 months and still doesn't have much
hair! Thats okay she is still a cutie!!!
Here is what her hair looked like before.

We are so glad that Kim has been the one
to cut each of our children's hair for the
first time! She flew all the way from NC
for this moment!! Don't worry we will
tip her good!
Kamryn did just great.

Thanks Kim, she looks sooo cute!
It only took like 2 minutes to tame
that wild hair.

Konnley's 9th Birthday

KONNLEY IS 9!!!
Okay, here are some new pictures finally! Here is our new champion bowler
and Birthday boy! I can't believe he is 9!

Here are some of Konnley's friends competing for 1st place

This is the way I like to bowl! Jacey had a blast
bowling, her score wasn't too bad either!

Wow, Konnley got his very own bowling pin! Everyone at
the party signed it, too cool!

Someone is excited to open presents!

Squirt guns are good!!

Look at what fun stuff I got! My favorite present
was the remote control helicoptor!

And of course the batteries! Thanks everyone!

What a lovely cake! Don't mind the graduation hat! OOPS...

Yes, we have stylin bowling shoes on!

Here are the party animals! Kamryn stayed home with Grandma...
would you give Kamryn a bowling ball?? I didn't think so, maybe next year.
Fun party!
